Best Western Hotels & Resorts – Leading and Launching in Difficult Times

One of the best parts of our job is to watch how organizations lead out in difficult times. Best Western® Hotels and Resorts (BWHR) is an example of just that. They are pushing forward by not only continuing with their I Care® Every Guest Every Time program but also have launched their Elevate Leadership Excellence initiative. This initiative includes General Managers at more than 2,000 properties across North America.

As part of their launch in December 2020, BWHR and FranklinCovey produced videos to encourage and inform leaders about the new initiative.

The videos include an acknowledgement of the hard work that leaders are doing, encouragement to invest time in their personal development, a brief overview of the tools that are now available to them, and the vision and commitment to employees and their success. This has been an impactful way of kicking off this program and getting buy in.
