Do you recognize the good work that your team is doing? Reinforcing feedback can influence behavior change within the people around you.

A good place to start with reinforcing good behavior is by sharing the impact of the behavior. For example, instead of saying you liked a report, you could say, “The summary really helped clients understand the issue before our meeting.”

If you regularly recognize people for meeting or exceeding expectations, you’re much more likely to see that behavior continue.
