Model Good Behavior

 

Emotions are contagious. If you are noticing poor behavior in the people around you, try acting as a model.

If something bad happens, don't freak out and throw a fit. Instead, take a deep breath and show the people around you that you are in control of your emotions. The people around you will see an effective way of handling things and are more likely to model that behavior when they are faced with a similar challenge.
