Managing a Micromanager

Being micromanaged is frustrating and can kill engagement. It’s important to discover why your boss is micromanaging you because it will allow you to formulate a plan to address it.

This micromanagement could stem from insecurity, lack of trust, or added pressure. There is also the possibility that your boss is just over controlling. Once you know why your boss is micromanaging you, then you can take corrective action.
