Kory Kogon says leaders must set the example for their direct reports. If you are answering emails and working late into the night, your team will be more likely to do that as well which is not a productive way to work.
Instead, make the commitment to avoid working when you're not supposed to (the weekends and/or holidays), and ask your direct reports to do the same.
